March 21-25, 2011
Welcome the coming of spring with art and cartooning classes at the Schulz Museum! Classes are designed for children in grades 1 to 6. Drop off your child (or stay and join the fun!) for holiday activities. All classes require pre-registration and are filled
on a first-come, first-served basis. Snacks and supplies are provided.

Make It Messy!
MONDAY, MARCH 21 ● 9am–12:30noon
Wear old clothes and have fun creating messy art all morning. Make your own paper, Japanese fish prints (Gyotaku), and sponge paintings with local artist and art teacher Lynn Roth.

More Messy Art
TUESDAY, MARCH 22 ● 9am–12:30noon
Make your own paper bowls, experiment with sand casting and more in this hands-on, activity-based art class. Join art instructor Lynn Roth and get your hands messy with a variety of fun art projects.

Peanuts for Kids
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23 ● 9am–12:30pm
Learn to draw some of your favorite Peanuts characters. Also, make Snoopy’s doghouse out of origami, make a Snoopy puppet to take home and more.

Spring Fling
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23 ● 1–4:30pm
Spring is here! Enjoy a variety of warm weather crafts and activities. Make and fly your own kite, create rain paintings, and design a colorful t-shirt to take home.

Camp Freeze — Extended Day!
THURSDAY, MARCH 24 ● 9:00am–2:30pm
Make snow, freeze bubbles, create your own frost and enjoy hands-on winter crafts. Also, ice skate at Snoopy’s Home Ice!
*Make sure to bring a lunch and note the additional cost for this class.

Martians, Mermaids and Monsters
FRIDAY, MARCH 25 ● 9am–12:30pm
Learn to draw fantastic and mysterious creatures from Earth and beyond and to combine different creatures to make your own with cartoonist Brian Kolm.

Superheroes and Sidekicks
FRIDAY, MARCH 25 ● 1–4:30pm
Draw daring wonder women, mighty men and their evil enemies. Join cartoonist Brian Kolm as he covers the basics of heroic figure construction and uniform design.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
If you need to cancel a class, please let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel a class with more than a 24–hour notice, the Museum will provide you with either a full credit for a future class or with a refund minus a processing fee. We cannot provide any refunds or credits for classes cancelled with less than a 24–hour notice. |
