Who is Snoopy?
This introduction to museums, Charles Schulz, and Peanuts is specially designed for young students.
Children will enjoy a hands-on tour of the Museum
and see a Peanuts animated special. They will also
play drawing games and create their own cartoons.

The Art of the Story
Learn how Charles Schulz and other cartoonists use their
own life experiences to develop characters and convey stories in
just four cartoon panels. Explore the key elements of a story and
learn to tell your own story with images in a hands-on cartoon
workshop.

The Art of Cartooning
Cartoons make us laugh, tell stories, and comment on the world
around us. Learn how cartoonists use simple lines to show
complex characters and emotions. Students will tour the Museum
and create their own animation sequence for our giant zoetropes.

To The Moon, Snoopy!
February 2 through July 6, 2009
Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo space missions
with a hands-on tour of the exhibition To The Moon: Snoopy Soars
with NASA. Included is the history of the Apollo 10 and 11 missions
and a scale model of the Apollo command module. Students will
have time for hands-on exploration and a chance to draw Snoopy in his astronaut flight suit.
