Special Group Programs

In addition to our regular programming (see the Calendar of Events page for details), we periodically present special group activities and events, including Home School Days, Girl Scouts Days, Boy Scouts Days, and special guest presentations and lectures.


Upcoming Group Events in 2010

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17 ● 10am–2:30pm
Girl Scout Day at the Museum: Peanuts...Naturally
Explore the natural world through the eyes of Peanuts characters and through a variety of fun, hands-on projects. Make a terrarium and solar oven to take home and create other crafts in support of the Brownie’s Earth is Our Home Try-its and the Girl Scouts’ Earth Connections badge. Also ice skate at Snoopy’s Home Ice and earn a special Schulz Museum patch.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23 ● 12–4:30pm
Scout Day at the Museum: Peanuts...Naturally
Cub and Boy Scouts will explore the Museum’s newest exhibition, Peanuts. . .Naturally, and complete a variety of hands-on projects in support of their nature merit badge. Ice skating at Snoopy’s Home Ice is included.
Cost: $10 per scout. Reservations required; call (707) 284–1263.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 18 ● 9:30am–12pm
Home School Day: Peanuts...Naturally
Explore the natural world through the eyes of the Peanuts characters and through the Museum’s newest exhibition,
Peanuts. . .Naturally. Enjoy a variety of fun, hands-on projects including making a terrarium and meeting some live animals, too.
Cost: $5 per child. Add ice skating for an additional $5 per person! Advance reservations required; call (707) 284–1263.
