
Adult Master Class Series
at the Charles M. Schulz Museum

Learn the art of cartooning from some of the best in the field in the Charles M. Schulz Museum's Master Class Series for adults. This new series is designed to explore different aspects of the creative process. Each class will provide an intimate environment in which budding artists and cartoonists can receive art instruction and advice from top cartoonists.
Classes require advance reservations and are recommended for students 18 years and older. Class size is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Designing Web Comics

Explore the ins and outs of web comics with Scott Kurtz, whose web comic Player vs. Player has over 150,000 daily readers and won the 2006 Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic.
Developing Stories and Storyboards

Join Pixar story artist Rob Gibbs of Up, Wall●E, Cars, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., and other features to discuss developing stories and creating story boards. Gibbs has also co-directed several Pixar short films, including seven Mater’s Tall Tales.
Cartooning is Serious Business

Harvey Award-winning cartoonist Keith Knight explores the business side of indie cartooning, including self-publishing, syndication vs. self-syndication, being a web cartoonist, and more. Knight’s comics, which include the Knight Life, K Chronicles and (th)ink are read world-wide and have been collected in eight books.
Humor Writing for Comics
SUNDAY, APRIL 25 ● 10–11:30am
Join cartoonist and cartoon historian Brian Walker to explore the art of writing for comics. Since 1984 Walker has written for Hi and Lois and Beetle Bailey, in addition to his own books about cartooning and comic art.
