About the Master Class Series for Adults
The Schulz Museum’s Master Class Series for Adults was developed to allow professional cartoonists to share their expertise in developing concepts, honing drawing skills, and creating characters with budding artists. The following syndicated cartoonists will teach or contribute to one class throughout the fall: Greg Evans (Luann) on October 24 and Stephan Pastis (Pearls Before Swine) together with Alexis E. Fajardo (Kid Beowulf) on November 7. Fees and advance registration are required. Call (707) 579-4452 #263 for more information and to register.
About Greg Evans and Luann
In 2003, Evans received the highest honor awarded to cartoon artists: the National Cartoonists Society’s Reuben Award for Cartoonist of the Year. Evans’ comic strip, Luann, chronicles the joyful discoveries and torturous experiences of adolescence and has been syndicated by United Feature Syndicate since 1985. Evans has also published over 20 Luann books and co-created a stage musical based on his strip. Evans has often given credit to Charles Schulz as one of the cartoonists who most influenced his life and career.
