MetLife will present Snoopy in Fashion, a Peanuts–inspired fashion show, as part of New York’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on Friday, September 7th at 6pm. Many of fashion’s favorite designers are confirmed to participate, including Heatherette, Issac Mizrahi, Laura Bennett, Betsey Johnson, and even Tony award winner Kristin Chenoweth among several other leading designers from around the world. After the fashion show, the Charles M. Schulz Museum will display five of these Peanuts–inspired pieces, pictures of all the designs, plus footage of the fashion show and behind–the–scenes interviews. Peanuts fans and fashionistas alike will be able to bid on the designers’ unique runway creations in an upcoming eBay auction.  Proceeds from the auction will go to benefit Dress for Success, a non–profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire. The event is being managed on eBay by Auction Cause, a premier online auction management agency specializing in high-profile design, strategy, and cause marketing for corporations and nonprofits worldwide.
