Snoopy in a Kimono, with Toy Tops

Snoopy looks very dapper in his kimono as he plays with the toy tops.  Tops, or koma, are a traditional Japanese toy; they were introduced into Japan about a thousand years ago from China. The artist has used traditional fabrics in this quilt: kimono crepes, obi silks and yukata.
