Wheelchair Accessibility

All parts of the Schulz Museum and surrounding grounds are completely wheelchair accessible for our visitors, including the parking lot, gallery spaces, elevator, restrooms, and exterior courtyard.

The Schulz Museum also has one wheelchair for visitor use. It is available at the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis for those in need.

Directions to the Schulz Museum

The Charles M. Schulz Museum, Snoopy's Gallery & Gift Shop, and Snoopy's Home Ice (also known as the Redwood Empire Ice Arena) are all located in the same complex in Santa Rosa, California.

From San Francisco take Highway 101 North. Santa Rosa is about 60 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge (one hour by car, depending on traffic). Stay on Highway 101 through Santa Rosa to the north side of town. Take the Guerneville Road/Steele Lane exit; this will be the next exit after the College Avenue exit.

At the signal after exiting Highway 101, turn left onto Steele Lane going under the freeway overpass and through signal, being sure to get into the extreme right lane. Cross Cleveland Avenue at the next signal, and once across stay in the right lane. The street splits and Steele Lane becomes West Steele Lane which goes straight, and Guerneville Road curves to the left. Continue on West Steele Lane through the next signal at Range Avenue.

On the right side in the next block you will see The Redwood Empire Ice Arena and Snoopy's Gallery & Gift Shop set back from the street among the trees. The Museum will be on the corner of West Steele Lane & Hardies Lane, just past the Ice Arena.

From Northern California take Highway 101 South to Santa Rosa Take the Guerneville Road/Steele Lane exit; this will be the next exit after the Hopper Avenue exit.

At the signal after exiting Highway 101, turn Right onto Steele Lane being sure to get into the extreme right lane. Cross Cleveland Avenue at the next signal, and once across stay in the right lane. The street splits and Steele Lane becomes West Steele Lane, which goes straight, and Guerneville Road curves to the left. Continue on West Steele Lane through the next signal at Range Avenue.

On the right side in the next block you will see The Redwood Empire Ice Arena and Snoopy's Gallery & Gift Shop set back from the street among the trees. The Museum will be on the corner of West Steele Lane & Hardies Lane, just past the Ice Arena.

At the Santa Rosa Transit Mall, take the
Route 17 bus to the Coddingtown Mall.
The Museum is a short walk north on Range to West Steele Lane. Head west on West Steele Lane and follow the signs. Or transfer to the #11 bus, which has a stop in front of the Ice Arena.

Stay in the right lane and follow this to the second light, making a right onto Wilson Street. At the first stop sign make a left onto Fourth Street and you will see the sculpture located on the northwest corner of Wilson and Fourth in Deport Park in Railroad Square. You will find parking and the Santa Rosa Convention & Visitors Bureau in the small park.

From Highway 101 (southbound), take the Downtown exit onto Davis Street and stay in the right lane. Follow this for three blocks to Fourth Street. At the stop sign turn right and follow for one block to Wilson Street and cross the intersection. You will see the sculpture on the northwest corner of Wilson & Fourth in Depot Park, and there you will find parking and the Santa Rosa Convention & Visitors Bureau.
